This “reflections from practice” piece explores some of the implications emerging, artificially intelligent tools for futures and foresight prac-ademic community. The authors provide background on these tools, explore, with special emphasis scenarios, a specific tool named “Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer” (hereafter, ChatGPT). examine utility scenarios generated by artificial intelligence (AI) explore whether or not community should selectively embrace advances in AI to assist generation scenarios. In particular, will consider (1) using completely AI, (2) what is produced, fact, constitute based conventional definitions, (3) assess production At this point time, can now generate numerous seemingly any topic at essentially zero cost user. Still, insist that those largely predicated user's ability coax appropriate “raw material” bot, which implicates, contend, such bots usefully base material development but are unlikely fully eclipse scenarists Additionally, recommend pay especially close attention novel insights regard differences human cognition and, case, logic large language model outputs.
